Constant Summary

DBUS_METHOD_INVOCATION_HANDLED = true

The value returned by handlers of the signals generated by the gdbus-codegen tool to indicate that a method call has been handled by an implementation. It is equal to true, but using this macro is sometimes more readable.

In code that needs to be backwards-compatible with older GLib, use true instead, often written like this:

|[ g_dbus_method_invocation_return_error (invocation, ...); return TRUE; // handled ]|

DBUS_METHOD_INVOCATION_UNHANDLED = false

The value returned by handlers of the signals generated by the gdbus-codegen tool to indicate that a method call has not been handled by an implementation. It is equal to false, but using this macro is sometimes more readable.

In code that needs to be backwards-compatible with older GLib, use false instead.

Macro Detail

macro register_resource(resource_file, source_dir = ".") #

Load the XML resource_file and register it, returning the Gio::Resource.

When compiling in release mode this macro runs glib-compile-resources at compile time, so the XML is only needed at compile time. However when running in debug mode this macro runs glib-compile-resources at run time, so you don't need to recompile your program to e.g. see the changes in a UI file inside a GResource.

By default the resource_file is read from the same directory where the compiler was invoked, to read it from a different directory use the sourcedir parameter.

See examples/resource.cr for more info.
